Residential
CAMBRIDGE RESIDENCE
Cambridge, MA - 2025
Tucked inside a modern townhouse in Cambridge, this dining nook was designed to hold the rhythm of daily life.

Design Intent
With no room for a formal dining area, the clients envisioned a soft corner, something grounded and intentional, balancing form and function in equal measure.

Material Details
The custom oak banquette is upholstered in warm Belgian linen, built low with a short back to keep the space open and at ease. An oak pedestal supports a slab of hones Roman travertine, its soft radius edges inviting slower meals and longer conversations.
Ambiance
A pair of custom hand formed ceramic sconces, by Streicher Goods, adds age and irregularity, anchoring the nook in quiet contrast to the home's clean architectural lines.
