Our Approach
NoN Studio is a New York–based interior architecture and design studio with over 10 years of experience across hospitality, retail, and residential projects nationwide, we bring the rigor of large-scale execution to highly considered, intimate environments.
We partner with founders, chefs and creative teams from concept through completion, guiding each project with care and clarity. Drawing on an extensive network of collaborators and fabricators, we ensure every detail is thoughtfully considered and seamlessly executed, bringing vision, narrative, and operations into alignment.
We specialize in working with emerging businesses, whether designing a first location or envisioning what comes next. Our approach is rooted in research and strategy, using test fits and layout studies to establish a strong foundation before developing concept, schematic, and detailed design. Throughout the process, we translate ideas into clear, buildable outcomes through sketch illustrations, photorealistic renderings, and hands-on design development, remaining closely involved through construction and on-site execution.
We design the full retail experience. This includes custom fixtures, furniture, and lighting; merchandising strategies and display systems; art curation and styling; and photography and art direction. We also support brand-led experiential elements such as environmental graphics, signage, sound, and spatial storytelling, creating retail environments that feel intentional, memorable, and distinctly human.
We partner with homeowners to bring their design visions to life. Our work spans projects both large and small, from custom furniture and layout planning to material and finish selection, art curation, and styling. Through thoughtful coordination of fixtures, textiles, and objects, we create homes that feel deeply grounding, spaces that reflect identity and support the rhythm of daily life.

Before NoN, Jamie spent her career inside some of New York's most demanding creative environments. Including time shaping the design language of brands like sweetgreen, where environment and identity are inseparable, contributing to the expansion of over 150 restaurant locations and defining not just the look of each space, but the systems that supported them.
Her work is grounded in a deep respect for craft from her background in metalsmithing jewelry and later refined through her MFA in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design.
Each project is approached with curiosity resulting in environments that are considered, intentional and confidently resolved.
